Baer is looking for SAP Integration Architect for a 6+ month remote project. Title: SAP Integration Architect
Location: Remote (with travel to client sites as required, Atlanta, GA)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C Overview The SAP Integration Architect designs and leads scalable, secure integration solutions connecting SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and enterprise applications. The role ensures reliable data flow and seamless business processes across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and commercial functions. Description:
* Define and govern SAP enterprise integration architecture and standards. * Design integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, PI/PO, APIs, EDI, IDocs, OData, REST, and SOAP. * Lead integration strategy for SAP implementations, migrations, and transformations. * Develop technical specifications, data mappings, and architecture diagrams. * Ensure integrations meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability standards. * Troubleshoot complex SAP and non-SAP integration issues. * Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure, and security teams. * Mentor integration developers and guide technical decisions. Requirements: * 7+ years of SAP integration architecture experience. * Strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite, API Management, PI/PO, EDI, IDocs, RFC, OData, REST, and SOAP. * Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud integrations across SAP, Azure, or AWS. * Knowledge of API-led and event-driven architecture. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills. * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. * Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, or CPG experience preferred. * Knowledge of MuleSoft, Boomi, Event Mesh, or Kafka experience. * SAP integration/architecture certification nice to have. * S/4HANA transformation or greenfield implementation experience.
