Our client is a roadway system, and as a part of their digital transformation, they are implementing a solution based on SAP BRIM & Microsoft Dynamics CE.

Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking a SAP BRIM Data Analyst / Developer with BODS and Emigal  to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have an opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

SAP BRIM Data Analysis & Migration Support.

• Subscription Order Management (SOM).
• Convergent Charging (CC).
• Convergent Invoicing (CI).
• Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA).
• Customer and billing master data.
• Analyze legacy source systems and map data to SAP BRIM target structures.
• Support data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.

SAP BODS Development.

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Data Services (BODS) jobs, workflows, scripts, and ETL processes.
• Develop source-to-target mappings and transformation logic.
• Optimize ETL jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support batch processing, scheduling, and automation activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BODS job failures and performance issues.

SAP EMIGALL Development & Configuration.

• Configure and develop SAP EMIGALL migration objects and load programs.
  
• Master data migration.
• Transactional data migration.
• FICA migration objects.
• Customer account migration.
• Billing and invoicing migration.
• Execute migration loads, validation checks, and reconciliation activities.
• Assist with mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities.

Data Validation & Reconciliation.

• Data validation scripts.
• Reconciliation reports.
• Data quality checks.
• Migration test scenarios.
• Validate completeness, accuracy, and integrity of migrated data.
• Analyze and resolve data discrepancies and migration defects.

Technical Development & Integration.

• SAP S/4HANA.
• CRM systems.
• Legacy billing platforms.
• External data sources.
• Collaborate with integration teams on APIs, interfaces, and middleware solutions.
• Support SQL development and database-level analysis as needed.

Testing & Production Support.

• Unit testing.
• System integration testing.
• User acceptance testing (UAT).
• Performance testing.
• Support migration deployment activities and post-production stabilization.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing operational support.

Documentation & Governance.

• Mapping documents.
• ETL design specifications.
• Migration procedures.
• Technical documentation.
• Operational runbooks.
• Support enterprise data governance and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to migration standards and change management processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement.

• Data architects.
• SAP BRIM functional consultants.
• BASIS administrators.
• Infrastructure teams.
• Business stakeholders.
• Participate in workshops, design reviews, and migration planning sessions.
• Provide technical knowledge transfer and mentoring to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of SAP data migration or data development experience.
• 4+ years of direct SAP BODS development experience.
• 3+ years of SAP EMIGALL development and migration experience.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise SAP BRIM or FICA migration initiatives.
• Hands-on experience developing:
  • SAP BODS ETL jobs and workflows.
  • Data mappings and transformation logic.
  • EMIGALL migration objects and load processes.
  • SQL queries and reconciliation reports.
• Strong understanding of:
  • SAP BRIM data structures.
  • SAP FICA migration concepts.
  • Data migration methodologies.
  • Data quality and reconciliation practices.
  • Enterprise ETL and integration concepts.
• Experience with:
  • SAP S/4HANA integrations.
  • Database technologies.
  • APIs and middleware platforms.
  • Performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Strong ETL development and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical migration solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:
  • SAP Data Migration Cockpit.
  • SAP HANA.
  • SAP Datasphere.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Cloud-based SAP environments.
• Experience in utilities, telecommunications, transportation, finance, or subscription-based industries.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Experience supporting Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Prior consulting or contractor experience in enterprise SAP environments.

Required Education and Certifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management.
• SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Data Services.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA.
• SAP S/4HANA certifications preferred.
• Data integration or ETL certifications preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
