Job description

About Company:
At Delaplex, we believe true organizational distinction comes from exceptional products and services. Founded in 2008 by a team of like-minded business enthusiasts, we have grown into a trusted name in technology consulting and supply chain solutions. Our reputation is built on trust, innovation, and the dedication of our people who go the extra mile for our clients. Guided by our core values, we don't just deliver solutions, we create meaningful impact.
Job Title: Solution Architect - Infor WMS
Location: North America (Must be willing and able to travel to the client location in Arizona as well as warehouse sites throughout the country if needed)
Department: US Enterprise Supply Chain Practice
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned, US-based Solution Architect - Infor WMS to serve as our primary onsite business and technical authority for enterprise warehouse implementations across North America. In this dual-capacity lead role, you will bridge the gap between high-level supply chain strategy, facility-level operational workflows, and technical systems engineering.
Operating directly at client distribution centers and corporate headquarters, you will lead discovery workshops, re-engineer warehouse processes, and architect the end-to-end technical ecosystem-including Infor CloudSuite WMS configurations, Infor ION integration pipelines, ERP/TMS interfaces, and warehouse automation (MHE/WCS).
Key Responsibilities:
Onsite Business Architecture & Facility Operations
  • Onsite Discovery & Process Mapping: Lead physical walk-throughs, observation studies, and blueprinting workshops at client distribution centers to analyze current-state operations across Inbound, Putaway, Picking (Wave/Batch/Zone), Packing, Shipping, Parcel, and Labor Management.
  • Functional Solution Ownership: Design scalable, best-practice operational workflows tailored to US supply chain standards, omni-channel fulfillment, and high-volume environments.
  • Operational Alignment: Author Business Process Designs (BPD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) that maximize native Infor WMS capabilities while minimizing custom modifications.

Technical Architecture & Systems Engineering
  • Integration Ecosystem: Architect real-time, high-throughput integration pipelines between Infor WMS, leading ERPs (Infor M3/LN, SAP, Oracle NetSuite), TMS, and US parcel carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) using Infor ION, BODs, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware.
  • Automation & MHE Integration: Design interface protocols for Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Voice Picking, AutoStore, and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs/AGVs).

Pre-Sales Enablement & Subject Matter Expertise (SME)
  • Pre-Sales Support: Partner with sales and account teams during pursuit phases-leading architectural pitch sessions, conducting rapid operational assessments, authoring technical proposals (RFPs/RFIs), and defining Statements of Work (SOWs) with realistic scope, staffing, and timeline estimations.
  • Domain SME: Serve as the internal and client-facing Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Infor WMS capabilities, industry best practices, and emerging warehouse technologies (AMRs, AI/ML task optimization, voice picking).

Onsite Delivery Leadership & Execution
  • Single Point of Ownership: Provide physical, day-to-day architectural leadership at client sites, directing cross-functional teams of configuration analysts, integration developers, and client IT staff.
  • On-the-Floor Testing & Go-Live: Lead onsite System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), floor readiness audits, and hypercare execution directly from the facility floor during cutover.
  • Change Management: Facilitate client alignment between corporate IT leadership and warehouse floor operations, driving user adoption and SOP standardizations.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Location & Authorization: Must be based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Experience: 12+ years in supply chain consulting, with a minimum of 8+ years dedicated specifically to Infor WMS in both functional and technical architectural capacities.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Onsite Presence & Travel: Ability and willingness to travel up to 50-75% to client distribution centers and project sites across the contiguous United States.

Technical & Functional Mastery:
  • Functional: Expertise in US logistics operations, compliance (OSHA, FDA/hazmat tracking where applicable), parcel carriers, LTL/TL shipping, and 3PL.
  • Technical: Hands-on experience with Infor OS, Infor ION, BOD architecture, APIs, XML/JSON, and advanced SQL (Oracle / MS SQL Server) for backend validation and troubleshooting.
  • Automation: Track record of integrating Infor WMS with automated material handling systems and WES/WCS platforms.

Preferred Domain Exposure & Skills (Good to Have)
  • Multi-Industry WMS Implementation Experience: Prior track record of architecting or deploying Infor WMS across specialized vertical domains, specifically:
  • Industrial & Heavy Manufacturing: Spare parts management, kitting, shop-floor replenishment, serial/lot tracking, and heavy item handling.
  • Telecom & Technology Logistics: High-value asset tracking, reverse logistics (RMA/refurbishment), IMEI/serial-level scanning, and telecommunications equipment distribution.
  • 3PL & Logistics Providers: Multi-client/multi-tenant facility setup, client-specific billing rules, value-added services (VAS), and cross-docking workflows.
  • Certifications: Official Infor CloudSuite WMS & Infor OS Certifications;
Optional Certifications: APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or PMP Certification.
  • Supply Chain Software Ecosystems: Experience with supporting US logistics software tools (e.g., Bartender, Loftware, ProShip, ConnectShip).
