GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The SAP Finance Lead Analyst plays a critical role by partnering with Finance process owners and technology groups to fully leverage SAP capabilities and drive process standardization, process efficiencies, automation, and, ultimately, value creation.

The SAP Finance Lead Analyst will collaborate with Finance functional teams and external service providers to ensure high availability for SAP applications in his/her domain expertise, as well as to successfully execute enhancements and project work.

This role will be involved in eliciting requirements and collaborating on the design and development of SAP Finance solutions. Their domain expertise will be leveraged through strong verbal and written communication skills

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide functional and technical expertise to lead, analyze, plan, and design SAP solutions in the RTR process domain (Finance, Cost, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, and integration with other processes and SAP modules)
  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify and define high-level business requirements.
  • Collaborate with lead functional consultants in driving and delivering SAP solutions enabling RTR processes.
  • Partner with Finance process owners to elicit and document functional requirements. Partner with business process owners and other technology groups to create foundational artifacts (testing scripts, process documentation, training, etc.).
  • Collaborate with AMS service providers to ensure best practices are applied when configuring and developing SAP solutions in the RTR process domain
  • Work with business process owners to support data migration as required in project execution
  • Assist business teams with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new SAP systems and modules.
  • Engage in high-impact incident resolution and data recovery
  • Participate in Incident Root Cause Analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration, 10 years of work experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Proven experience integrating FICO modules with other SAP modules/systems (OTC, SCM, EAM, EPPM, SuccessFactors, Concur, Analytics Cloud) and non-SAP systems (Vertex, OpenText)
  • Experience in the Utilities industry
  • Proven track record of success in leading RTR in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations with the SAP Activate Methodology
  • Proven track record of success in leading RTR in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations with the SAP Activate Methodology
