SAP NS2 TSM Manager - Virtual

This position requires access to customer data.  Must be a U.S. citizen; SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role.  All internals must have manager’s approval to transfer. 

The is a people manager role that will manage a team of Technical Service Managers supporting NS2 RISE PCE customers. Each Technical Service Manager supports multiple customers and is supporting delivery as a customer facing role. TSMs own the customer landscape and advise on critical and complex landscape changes during life cycle management
 

  • As a people manager, you are primarily responsible for the management and advancement of a team with technical background. 
    Key expectations and tasks of the role are:
  • Being accountable for TSM delivery and support of customers ensuring high quality of customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Responsible for managing, developing, and further growing the teams of employees at all levels of experience, operating in a dynamic and fast-growing business environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking with active collaboration and relationship with stakeholders in the across multiple teams within NS2 and SAP.
  • Communication with customers and SAP-internal stakeholders including C-level.
  • Excellent delivery & engagement management, relationship building and de-escalation skills.
  • Facilitating and leading initiatives/programs which include effective interaction with senior leadership in NS2 & SAP.
  • This is a customer-facing role and would require about 30% travel.

Required skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information management with Project Management certification.Years of experience can be used in lieu of a degree
  • Strong customer service focus and C level communication, and experience in the cloud business
  • Successful track record of leading strategic projects
  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience in SAP Basis/HANA is a mandatory
  • Excellent technical project management experience in major activities like OS/DB migrations, upgrades, Datacenter migration etc
  • Ability to work under pressure and constantly add value to customer and within NS2 & SAP
  • Previous management experience strongly preferred 


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years experience with customer facing SAP Technology Consulting (e.g. Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity, Operations etc.) in large-scale customer environments.
  • 8+ years experience with solution design, enterprise architecture and SAP implementation.
  • 4+ years’ experience in technical project management for SAP Operations or Implementation
  • Understanding of United States Government Cloud System Requirements (NIST, ITAR, FedRAMP, etc)
  • Experience working with Aerospace and Defense customers is a plus
  • Experience with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP) and data centers is a big advantage.
  • SAP NetWeaver, OS/DB migration, SAP HANA, TOGAF certifications are plus.
  • Experience and certifications with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure, or GCP) are an advantage.
  • Cloud security including Cyber Security, Encryption, and key management knowledge is a plus.

The targeted combined range for this position is 142,500 - 242,300 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
