Job description

Position: SAP Lead Solution Analyst

The SAP Lead Solution Analyst will be accountable for bridging business needs with SAP technical solutions, creating blueprints, ensuring seamless cross functional solution interoperability and ensuring system integration to help streamline business processes. This role will work with the L3 functional and technical leads of the various SAP modules (MM, SD, FICO, MDG, PP, EWM and ABAP) to provide a unified SAP solution to business needs. Team members should have knowledge of basic business processes and possess technical, and communication skills needed to interface directly with stakeholders and internal IT L3 Leads to administer and enhance the system. This position requires strong experience in solutioning end to end business processes using SAP S/4 HANA solutions in the core SAP modules. The Lead SAP Solution Analyst is expected to provide technical leadership with primary oversight of the business process and S/4 Hana systems, mentoring and advising team members, and being the primary point of contact for cross-functional collaborations. This "unicorn" role requires deep functional knowledge in MDG, MM, SD, EWM & PP, knowledge of interfaces and technical skills in ABAP (User Exits, BAPIs, Forms), CPI and BTP for seamless enterprise-wide solutions. Experience in Ariba & IBP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis:Gather and interpret business requirements to design appropriate SAP solutions.
  • Solution Design: Create detailed solution blueprints, defining components data flow and technology choices. Work with functional L3 leads to perform fit-gap analysis and define functional specifications (FSTs) for custom developments (RICEFWs: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows). Work towards designing and implementing SAP best practices, tools and automation
  • Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, provide technical direction and ensure solution meets standards for enhancements, FIORI tiles, user exits, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, custom reports, and interfaces.
  • Integration: Ensure smooth data flow and processes between FICO, MM, SD, and PP modules. Ensure SAP systems seamlessly connect with other Enterprise and Manufacturing applications.
  • Testing & Support: Assist IT SAP functional and development teams to perform Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); troubleshoot production issues, fix bugs, and manage system stability.
  • Optimization: Assist IT basis team to improve system performance, efficiency and scalability.
  • Documentation & Training: Create Process / Solution documents, process diagrams, flow charts and technical documents.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • At least 5 years of overall IT experience and a record of success supporting a fast-paced business organization, providing technical expertise, while applying best practices and leveraging core SAP platform capabilities.
  • Experience in Solution Design, Configuration, Implementation and Support of SAP S/4 HANA systems and integration of SAP processes with other enterprise and manufacturing applications.
  • Experience in developing SAP RICEFW enhancements, FIORI tiles, user exits, BAPIs, BADIs, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, custom reports, and interfaces.
  • Hands on experience in SAP core modules - Master Data, MM, SD, EWM, PP & FICO functions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Good understanding of Procure to Pay, Forecast to Stock, Plan to Fulfill, Product costing, Receivables and General Ledger accounting business processes.
  • Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
  • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a "can-do" attitude - adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Proven track record in supporting operations customers and contract manufacturers
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal, written & presentation communications skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including internationally as necessary
  • Self-motivated with strong drive to achieve business objectives
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field.
  • Semiconductor industry background is a plus.
  • Experience in full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with AI is desirable.
  • Flexible collaboration with virtual global teams outside of office hours regularly.

Essential Skills:

  • Solid ABAP knowledge (debugging, enhancements, forms).
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP Business Technology Platform, Fiori and SAP Integration Suite.
  • Functional expertise in MM, SD, PP, EWM & FICO.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
