  • Drive improvements in production planning, including demand management, forecasting, MRP parameter optimization, planning strategies, and capacity leveling in coordination with supply chain and procurement teams.

  • Strengthen and optimize maintenance operations, including maintenance notifications, work orders, preventive and calibration schedules, equipment/functional location hierarchies, refurbishment processing, and spareparts planning.

  • Support and improve quality processes, including inprocess and final inspections, maintenancerelated inspections, results recording, usage decisions, defects logging, and quality notifications.

  • Work directly with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to understand operational issues and convert them into practical SAP ECC solutions.

  • Streamline production, maintenance, and quality processes by reducing manual work, eliminating unnecessary customizations, and moving toward SAP standard best practices.

  • Begin building the path toward S/4HANA, including:

    • Identify simplification items and functional deltas in PP, PM, and QM

    • Recommend clean-core approaches and process harmonization opportunities

    • Highlight areas where ECC technical debt will impact S/4 readiness

  • Document processes, functional designs, and test scenarios in clear, businessfriendly language.

  • Collaborate closely with other SAP functional teams and developers; must have experience working with and managing contractors.

  • Support testing cycles, cutover planning, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring
  • 10 - 15+ years SAP experience with deep SAP ECC PP/PM/QM skills.

  • Must have:

    • Must be handson in ECC configuration (not just oversight).

    • Must be able to run workshops with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams.

    • Must be able to analyze process breakdowns and recommend standard SAPbased solutions.

    • Must be able to document processes and functional and technical specs clearly and concisely.

    • Must be able to collaborate well with other architects and functional consultants.

  • Strong understanding of production execution, routings/BOMs, maintenance planning, equipment hierarchies, quality inspections, and respective master data.

  • Solid understanding of the SAP QM module as it relates to production and maintenance.

  • Curiosity, problemsolving mindset, and a proactive approach.
