Sanitation Manager

Shift- Tuesday-Saturday 7:00pm to 5:00am

Job Description: 

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Sanitation Manager to develop, implement and continuously improve on sanitation programs, policies and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the facility.

You will...

  • Develop and implement strategic sanitation programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that sanitary performance meets Factor standards as well as supports Food Safety requirements and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain and write detailed procedures and SOPs for all plant equipment
  • Maintain and update master cleaning schedule for plant according to GMP and Factor guidelines
  • Manage sanitation chemical supply and inventory
  • Build and maintain relationships with hourly associates, managers, carrier partners, vendors, and various departments within HelloFresh
  • Effectively engage, coach, motivate and lead the sanitation team for career progression and development
  • Participate in audits, facility inspections and coordinate  pre-operational inspection with QA Management
  • Develop and implement all sanitation related training for sanitation and plant employees as needed
  • Ensure all safety requirements related to sanitation are met including proper chemical storage, MSDS, PPE and procedures           
  • Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum, you have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science or related business equivalent/2-4 years of plant quality/food safety/sanitation experience.
  • Must have the knowledge and skills required to work in a fast paced and challenging environment 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and time management skills 
  • Must display strong leadership qualities
  • Knowledge of the GMP, HACCP and Environmental sanitation program is required.
  • Experience with third party regulatory agencies such as  SQF, FDA, USDA is preferred 
  • Understands and can apply basic microbiological principle
