What is a sandblaster operator?

Sandblaster Operators are skilled workers who use specialized equipment to clean, smooth, or prepare surfaces by blasting them with abrasive materials such as sand, grit, or other media. Their work is essential in industries like construction, manufacturing, and automotive repair, where surface preparation is critical for painting, coating, or finishing. Sandblaster Operators must follow safety protocols, operate machinery efficiently, and maintain their equipment. They often work in environments with dust and noise, requiring protective gear. The job requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and knowledge of different blasting techniques.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a sandblaster operator?
