Job description

GEC Trucking & Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced driver to operate a dump truck, load and haul material in a safe manner. Benefits package with health insurance, dental, vision, 401K and other benefits offered! Come join our team today!

Responsibilities:
  • Drive truck to transport and dump loose materials, such as asphalt, dirt, sand, gravel, crushed rock, etc.
  • Verify the types of items and that are hauled along with their weight Follow directions to haul and dump loads accordingly
  • Work outdoors in potential wet and dusty conditions
  • Ability to read and understand GPS, maps, road signs, DOT markings and labeling
  • Adhere to safety operating and driving procedures
  • Complete all required paperwork daily, including pretrip and posttrip safety inspection report and mileage/fuel sheet
  • Keep a record of the type of material and number of loads that are hauled
  • Maintain a clean vehicle
  • Work independently
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Refuel truck as needed
  • Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL A or B (Required), twoyears minimum
  • US work authorization (Required)
  • Two (2) years of dump truck experience (Preferred)
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the truck yard
