Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an energetic Safety Professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and assist with identifying risks that support safety programs for one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States. Opportunity to work as part of a diverse safety team to help strengthen our safety culture and improve hazard elimination for a world leader in manufacturing technology.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Implementandmanagesafetycomplianceprogramsinadherencetofederal,stateandlocalregulations.

  • ManageSamsungelectricalsafetyandhazardousenergyprograms.

  • Abilitytoanticipate,identify,andevaluatehazardousconditionsandpracticesduringtaskperformanceatasemiconductorfacility.

  • Develophazardcontroldesigns,methods,procedures,andprograms;andadviseandeducateothers.

  • Measureandevaluatetheeffectivenessofhazardcontrolelements.

  • Evaluationoftaskperformancetoensurecompliancewithsiteandregulatoryrequirements.

  • Documentandtrackresultstosupportsafetyprogramelements.

  • Conductincidentinvestigations,siteinspections,identifyrootcause,determinecorrectiveactions,andsupportimplementationasrelatedtosafetycomplianceprograms.

  • Conductemployeetrainingforeducationonsitesafetyrequirements.

  • Reviewandauditpre-taskplans,siteriskanalysesandstandardoperatingprocedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • ExtensiveknowledgeandapplicationofOSHA1910-S,NEC,NFPA-70E,IEEEinanindustrialenvironment.

  • 5ormoreyearsofrelevantexperience.

  • [Preferred]Bachelor'sdegreeinOccupationalSafetyandHealth,EnvironmentalScienceorStudies,EngineeringorRiskManagement.

The current base salary range for this role is between $65,000 - $107,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.

All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor are full-time on-site.
