Role and Responsibilities
The Manager, Business Analytics - Digital Appliances (DA) is a role responsible for supporting the analytics strategy, reporting infrastructure, and data-driven decision-making capabilities of the Digital Appliance organization. This individual will own the development and delivery of executive-level reporting, and serve as a strategic partner to sales, marketing, and operations leadership. The Manager will drive process transformation, establish best practices for data governance, and ensure the analytics function scales to meet business demands.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Analytics Strategy: Define and execute the analytics roadmap for the DA organization, aligning priorities with business objectives and executive stakeholder needs.
  • Executive Reporting: Own the design, development, and maintenance of senior leadership dashboards and reports; ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strategic relevance.
  • Sell-Through & Sell-In Analysis: Oversee comprehensive analysis of national and regional sell-through and sell-in data; translate insights into actionable recommendations for sales teams.
  • Process Automation & Optimization: Lead modernization of data workflows, eliminating manual processes and implementing scalable automation solutions and repeatable frameworks across reporting systems.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as the analytics lead for cross-functional initiatives spanning sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance; manage stakeholder expectations and deliver results on time.
  • Ad Hoc & Special Projects: Direct prioritization and execution of complex ad hoc analytical requests and special projects; maintain quality standards under tight timelines.
  • Data Governance: Establish and enforce standards for data quality, documentation, and model-level reporting consistency across multiple data sets and platforms.
  • Platform Management: Oversee the team's use of reporting platforms (SAP, BI, Tableau) and manage relationships with external data providers and technology partners.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required (MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in business analytics, data science, or a related field.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex data manipulation, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
  • Hands-on experience with BI platforms and data cubes (SAP, Tableau, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record building and delivering executive-level reporting and strategic insights.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities across stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter who operates effectively in ambiguous environments and drives outcomes independently.
  • Ability to quickly learn new data systems and lead team adoption of new tools and processes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, or retail channel analytics.
  • Familiarity with sell-through and sell-in reporting models in a large-scale sales organization.
  • Advanced proficiency in automation tools such as Alteryx or Knime.
  • Certification in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent analytics platform.
  • Experience presenting analytical findings to C-suite or VP-level stakeholders.
