Role Purpose

Reporting into the Regional Director, the Senior Manager, Event Management is an event specialist and local market expert who oversees thepre to postevent responsibilities, from planning and preparation to execution and reporting. Event elements will often include staffing, product sampling, consumer engagement, asset transportation, POS coordination, and production.

  • You'llwork in close collaboration withcross businesscounterpoints and serve as client contact.
  • You'lloversee direct reports, including ongoing recruitment,hiringand onboarding, and performance andfinancial managementofpart timeand (if applicable) full-time employees.
  • You'llfollow standard operating procedures, policies, and protocols for issue resolution.
  • You'llmanage local warehousing with POS and special event assets, and ensure assets are available/operable for activations.
  • You'llsocialize success and opportunities with program recaps, using data and insights for real-time measurement and evaluation, eventstrategiesand project plans/ volume phasing.
  • You'llmanagecross agencyand in-marketcommunications, andserve as a local contact for clients and partners.
  • You'llapprove andsubmitpayroll andexpenses for part-time and full-time employees.
  • You'llprocess payments for invoices from vendor partners.
  • You'llprepare and follow local market budgets.

Person Specification

  • 6 years minimum experience in event management
  • Only candidateslocatedinthe Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area will be considered.
  • Budget management skills
  • Prior sampling event and production experience
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits industry
  • Experience sourcing candidates to guarantee a match to the position/organization
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite
  • Comfortable with the possibility of some non-traditional working hours
  • Travel isrequiredwithin the assigned territories (schedule varies upon size of territory)

The annual salary range for this position is $72,000-$77,000 annually. We base placement within the salary range on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, and other factors permitted by law.
