Physician Opportunity - Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care - Springfield, Missouri

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in Springfield, Missouri area.

What We're Looking For
  • Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
  • Active state medical license
  • 2 years of post-residency clinical experience, ideally in urgent care or emergency medicine.
  • Experience treating patients across all age groups
  • Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with advanced practice providers

Your Role
As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you'll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including:
  • Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
  • Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
  • Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
  • Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
  • Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
  • Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
  • Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
