We are seeking an experienced systems engineer with strong technical depth in military system development and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to develop innovative, mission-focused solutions to complex challenges. If you are passionate about integrating cutting-edge technologies, architecting robust systems, and delivering high-impact engineering results, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference. Responsibilities: * Design and integrate weapons solutions and software into platform architectures using MBSE methodologies.
* Develop and manage system requirements throughout the lifecycle, ensuring traceability, verification, and compliance with program objectives.
* Provide expertise in open systems standards, mission engineering, software design, all as part of an integrated digital approach.
* Apply mission engineering principles to optimize and analyze system and subsystem performance across diverse platforms and operational environments.
* Collaborate with mission engineers, platform architects, and stakeholders to translate operational needs into executable system architectures and integrated technical solutions.
Qualifications * BS 5-7, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 (Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master's degree preferred).
* 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, with demonstrated weapons and defense platform knowledge
* Knowledge of existing weapons systems programs, weapons software architecture, and mission application for weapons systems
* Experience implementing open systems standards, MOSA, WOSA, GCIA, across diverse platforms (ground, air, maritime, space, or joint systems).
* Understanding of mission engineering concepts and their application to weapons/platforms and multi-domain operations.
* Proficiency with MBSE tools and methodologies (e.g., Cameo, SAM, Rhapsody, SysML, UPDM/UAF).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
