Job description

The City of North Salt Lake is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Streets and Storm Operator 1 or 2 depending on qualifications. This position works in the Streets and Storm Department and performs a variety of work related to the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of city streets, alleys, concrete replacement, solid waste removal, signing, striping, traffic control and storm water systems. Operators will also assist with SWPPP Plan Reviews, SWPPP inspections, keeping and filing of inspection reports, and complying with and/or enforcing all aspects of the City's Storm Water Management Plan.

The standard operating hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday thru Thursday. The City also offers a generous benefits package that includes health insurance and participation in the Utah Retirement System.
