Job Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Agentforce & Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing AI-powered agents, intelligent workflows, and automation solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem. This role will lead the implementation of Agentforce capabilities to support employee productivity and operational efficiency and optimization. Responsibilities include configuring AI agents, prompt templates, actions, orchestration logic, and workflow automations while integrating solutions with platforms including Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Intelligence and enterprise data sources. The individual will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify high-value automation opportunities and translate operational needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
In addition to AI agent development, this role serves as a hands-on Salesforce platform engineer responsible for Flow development, Apex support, API integrations, and automation architecture. Responsibilities also include establishing automation best practices, implementing governance and security controls, monitoring solution performance, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting continuous improvement of enterprise automation capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong Salesforce engineering expertise with experience in AI-driven workflow automation, system integration, and enterprise-scale solution delivery within a highly regulated environment.
The selected candidate will work with a seasoned team at the Catalyst Building in Denver's RiNo district. In this collaborative, high-performing environment, the CRM Solutions team focuses on innovation, problem-solving, operational efficiency, and consumer engagement at the intersection of healthcare, Salesforce technology, data, and AI. We build scalable solutions that enhance communications, personalization, and engagement.
Success in this role typically involves hands-on solution development, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous learning. Team members work closely with marketing, digital experience, analytics, operations, and clinical stakeholders to design and implement modern Salesforce capabilities including automation, AI-driven workflows, personalization, identity resolution, and real-time engagement strategies. The CRM Solutions team operates in a hybrid work environment designed to support both collaboration and flexibility, with team members working in-office four days per week and remotely one day per week.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 3 years of hands-on experience within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • 2 years of experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce automation solutions using Flow, Apex, APIs, and platform integrations
  • Experience configuring or developing AI-driven workflows, intelligent assistants, conversational AI, or automation solutions within enterprise platforms
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
  • Strong understanding of CRM architecture, workflow orchestration, and scalable automation design principles
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments translating operational and business requirements into technical solutions.
