Job Purpose

Supports sales team by generating marketing plans, proposals, presentations and promotional materials. Manages projects and programs to help meet sales goals for assigned products, services and market segments.

Essential Job Results

  • Supports sales management in market research, development and design of marketing literature, marketing database systems, intranet, and external websites.
  • Meets program and project requirements generating marketing plans, proposals and promotions. Identifies, develops and implements recommendations and creative strategies to achieve sales goals for assigned products, services and market segments.
  • Responds to sales communication needs by coordinating, researching and developing presentation, communication and promotional materials. Schedule graphic and creative design and production of sales marketing literature. Coordinates promotional efforts with members, clients and the sales team.
  • May develop advertising messaging to build brand identity and influence buying decisions. Prepares reports by compiling data, tracking and analyzing business plans and metrics.
  • Analyzes data to assess market variances, marketing initiative and promotional performance. Makes, presents and defends recommendations.
  • Maintains quality service by following Company standards.
  • Contributes to department's financial compliance by developing or administering annual budgets and negotiating with outside vendors as needed.
  • Promotes and sells the Company's products and services by asking for and closing sales. Provides customers with rate, availability and other terms and conditions. May suggest additional or alternative products and services. Meets established goals/quotas.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years' related experience in marketing or the hospitality industry.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of marketing principles across advertising, direct marketing, events, field marketing, and digital platforms.
  • Knowledge of assigned products, services, or market segments and their strategic positioning.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and brand standards relevant to marketing operations.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics, performance metrics, and budget management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for developing presentations, proposals, and promotional content.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Quick Suite, and Salesforce for project and data management, while adopting AI-enabled tools to automate workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Skilled in coordinating cross-functional marketing efforts and managing project timelines.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage marketing programs and projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Ability to respond to diverse marketing communication needs and deliver high-quality materials.

Other Requirements:

  • May travel up to 10% of work time.
  • This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite presence Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at our Global Operations Center, with the option to work remote on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
