Position Summary
 
As part of its business transformation journey, ofi is implementing multiple digital and IT initiatives for the Sales function. The Salesforce CRM Functional Lead will be responsible for leading the functional aspects of Salesforce Sales, Manufacturing, Service, Experience and SpecRight products, collaborating closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
This role is based onsite at our North America Headquarters in downtown Chicago and requires a five‑day‑per‑week onsite presence.
 
Position Responsibilities 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for functional aspects of Salesforce Sales and Experience projects. 
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to capture user stories, business processes, and system integration requirements. 
  • Design and document functional solutions that address business requirements and align with best practices on the Salesforce platform. 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. 
  • Provide guidance and support to the development team, clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment with functional specifications. 
  • Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to ensure users understand and adopt Salesforce CRM features and functionalities. 
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing their queries and issues related to Salesforce usage. 
  • Conduct functional testing to validate that Salesforce solutions meet business requirements and functional specifications. 
  • Collaborate with testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, including user acceptance testing (UAT). 
  • Create and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including business requirements documents, process flow diagrams, and user guides. 
  • Document best practices and guidelines for Salesforce CRM configuration and usage. 
  
Position Requirements  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Sales Cloud Consultant are a plus. 
  • Experience with Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud 
  • Proven experience, 5+ years, in gathering and documenting business requirements for Salesforce CRM projects. 
  • Deep understanding of CRM processes and best practices, with the ability to design and optimize workflows, validation rules, and approval processes. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language. 
  • Experience in conducting user training sessions and providing user support for Salesforce CRM implementations. 
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 
  
The pay for this role in the state of Illinois ranges from $108,000 - $145,000 and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Actual pay within this range may be determined based on candidate’s experience, qualifications and/or other determining factors.
