Job description

Salesforce Developer

Location: Washington DC (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-12+ Months

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engage with the Enterprise Data Services scrum team in agile methodology including stand-ups, planning, demos, and retrospectives
  • Provide requirements and solution design with provide functional analysis and consulting services on Fonteva membership system
  • Automate processes using Salesforce tools such as process builder, flows and validation rules
  • Design and develop solutions within the Salesforce platform
  • Enhance Salesforce with 3rd party tools from the AppExchange
  • Develop and support Fonteva functionality implemented within Salesforce
  • Evaluate requirements and estimate level of effort for assigned user stories
  • Perform testing to ensure the stability, security, and functionality within the Salesforce platform
  • Serve as a Salesforce subject matter expert for the College and guide and assist ACC business lines in proper use, management, configuration and when appropriate, customization or modification of the system in accordance with the College business practices
  • Lead, promote and ensure proper Salesforce system integration across the suite of ACC products and third-party vendor solutions
  • Partner with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in enhancing the Salesforce platform as required
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs
  • Contribute to documentations on Salesforce customizations and processes
  • Proactively communicate and manage expectations and deliverables
  • Collaborate across IT to ensure the success of projects and those of your colleagues
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years’ experience as a Salesforce developer delivering measurable results and successful configurations for end users
  • Minimum of two Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I
  • A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, with the ability to work with objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Experience working both independently and in an agile based collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated and functional solution crafting functional Salesforce. implementation or integration experience. Administration experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Fonteva is required
  • Experience with MuleSoft API is a plus
  • Experience working in the non-profit or Member based Association industry.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and complex problem-solving abilities from an operational and technical perspective
  • Experience with software development processes and interactions of complex systems.
