Role:-Senior Salesforce Developer
Location:-Cary, NC
Duration:-7 Months Contract-To-Hire

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
  • Design, code (Apex/Visualforce), configure, test solutions.
  • Translate simple to complex user requirements into functional and actionable software.
  • Work with other developers to design integrations between systems across the enterprise.
  • Follow and contribute to technical processes, coding standards, and guidelines.
  • Support application testing and deployment as part of the full release cycle.
  • Create and verify execution of software test plans, including integration, capacity and performance testing.
  • Demonstrate Salesforce capabilities to solve business problems and recommend best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of overall IT experience and a record of success supporting a fast-paced business organization, providing technical expertise, while applying best practices and leveraging core force.com platform capabilities.
  • At least 4 years' experience as a Salesforce developer in a fast-paced environment, working as a team member, leader, or individually to complete tasks thoroughly and accurately, with minimal supervision.
  • Experience must include strong working knowledge and ability to code APEX (classes, triggers and web services), Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, Outbound Messaging, Force.com platform as well as integration technologies (Web Services, xml, REST, SOAP).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce application including configuration, triggers, process builders, workflows, visual force, apex coding, custom objects, batch processes and, database design.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (Microsoft SQL) required.
  • Strong understanding of Web programming languages (HTML 5, CSS 3) required.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (previously DEV 501) required.
  • Strong understanding of Java programming language recommended.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
  • Experience with Github is desired.
