Position: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer - Email Campaign Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN (2–3 days in-office preferred)

Employment Type: Contract

Overview:

We’re hiring a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer to support a fast-growing marketing team. This is a high-impact contract role where you’ll help implement and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions, working alongside Solution Architects and Marketing Automation Managers to deliver efficient and scalable marketing automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support SFMC implementations and enhancements
  • Build integrations between SFMC and external systems
  • Configure, test, and document SFMC features; support end-user training
  • Develop advanced SQL queries, AMPScript, SSJS, and JSON logic
  • Edit HTML/CSS for email templates and landing pages
  • Build audience segments across multiple datasets
  • Follow rigorous QA processes and recommend platform optimizations
  • Collaborate with analytics teams for data access and insights

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
  • Strong experience with AMPScript, SQL, JSON, HTML/CSS; SSJS a plus
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certs preferred
  • Exposure to tools like Marketo, Pardot, and Journey Builder
