Job description

About the role:
Unison is seeking an independent, self-motivated experienced Salesforce Developer who has a proven capability to design, build and support business systems solutions in Finance, Banking or Mortgage Industries. This position will work with multiple stakeholders to define and deliver efficient, innovative and engaging Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an Agile, Scrum team collaborative culture, and projects a professional solution based approach to business and technical change requests and triage production issues.
This is a hybrid position with the requirement of 3 full days (Tues-Thurs) in our Omaha, NE or San Francisco, CA office.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and deploy Salesforce based cloud application solutions to internal business teams within Unison
  • Provide technical design, integration architecture, and solution recommendations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce applications, integrations, and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Admins, Product Owners, Business, QA, and Leadership) to translate business needs into valued positive user experiences.
  • Responsible for design, code review, and release management
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, specifically using Gearset or Jenkins
  • Apply best practices and technical business experience to Salesforce solutions, including design trade-offs and communication of design decisions.

About you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of Salesforce.com development experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Mastery of Salesforce Architecture and implementation involving multiple releases, change management process, and different SF environments (DEV, QA, Prod).
  • Fluent in Salesforce Apex ( programming, triggers, batch classes, SOQL and SOSL), Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
  • Design and implementation of API integrations between Salesforce and external/third party REST/SOAP APIs and AppExchange solutions
  • Knowledge of integration design and development best practices Agile, Lean and Scrum, governor limits, code reviews, etc
  • Experience designing test plans, performing unit testing, and writing test classes to ensure high value code coverage
  • Experience in additional development languages with JavaScript, Java, Ruby, Python, Scala

Pursuant to California Labor Code § 432.3, the salary range for this position is [$95,000 - $125,000]. This range reflects the base salary that the Company reasonably expects to pay for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location. Additional compensation may include bonuses, commissions, equity, or other benefits.
