Job description

Location: New York NY
Duration: 6 months

ONSITE ROLE

Salesforce Data Cloud Operator

Salesforce Data Cloud, Data Operations knowledge, PL/SQL
P.S – Having Marketing Cloud knowledge is plus

•       8-10 years’ experience in support of the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Salesforce Data and Marketing Cloud platform and related integrations.
•       Monitor platform health, performance, usage, and operational stability to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
•       Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
•       Coordinate and support platform upgrades, patching activities, and system updates in partnership with relevant technical teams.
•       Configure Salesforce Data Cloud features, permissions, security settings, and platform functionality to support business requirements.
•       Collaborate with Data Operations, Engineering, Analytics, and Governance teams to support platform-related initiatives and operational processes.
•       Assist in implementing and maintaining platform security controls and support compliance with data privacy and governance requirements.
•       Support data integrations and synchronization processes between Salesforce Data Cloud and internal/external systems.
•       Troubleshoot platform issues, investigate root causes, and coordinate resolution with appropriate stakeholders and vendors as needed.
•       Develop and maintain platform documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, and best practices.
•       Provide technical support, training, and guidance to internal users and stakeholders on Salesforce Data Cloud functionality and usage.
•       Support platform usage monitoring, cost tracking, and reporting related to licensed Data Cloud capabilities and features.
•       Stay current on Salesforce Data Cloud updates, features, and platform best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities
•       Some experience administering or supporting Salesforce platforms, with hands-on experience supporting Salesforce Data Cloud environments preferred.
•       Experience with Salesforce platform configuration, administration, and operational support.
•       Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities, integrations, and platform operations.
•       Experience supporting data integrations, ETL workflows, SQL, and data warehousing concepts (preferably Databricks and Teradata experience) .
•       Familiarity with Salesforce administration and development concepts, including APIs, integrations, permissions, and platform customization.
•       Experience supporting cloud-based platforms and enterprise application environments.
•       Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and operational problem-solving skills.
•       Experience supporting platform monitoring, operational support processes, and documentation practices.
•       Understanding of security, governance, and compliance considerations related to enterprise data platforms.
•       Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and related tooling such as GitHub Actions is a plus.
•       Experience with agile project management tools and processes (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
•       Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Data Cloud Developer, or related certifications are preferred.
•       Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
•       Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
