Robert Half is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to evaluate, document, and improve business processes for a non-profit organization based in Portland, OR. Apply today!


Duration: Through to January 2027 to start

Location: 100% Onsite

Schedule: Monday - Friday at 8am to 5pm PST


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one Salesforce coaching and support sessions for approximately 35 users.
  • Proactively schedule time with users rather than waiting for support requests.
  • Support users across the full spectrum of proficiency, from individuals who have never logged in to experienced users needing advanced reporting assistance.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce navigation, reporting, dashboard, data entry, and usability questions.
  • Assist users with report creation, dashboards, and data access.
  • Lead small-group training sessions, office hours, and power-user workshops.
  • Support testing and validation efforts related to enhancements and releases.
  • Partner with Salesforce administrators, developers, and vendors on escalated issues.
  • Identify recurring challenges and recommend adoption and process improvements.
  • Deliver high-touch support to users ranging from administrative staff through executive leadership.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce Administration, User Adoption, Training, Application Support, or related experience.
  • Hands-on Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud experience.
  • Strong reporting and dashboard expertise.
  • Experience supporting users with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Excellent coaching, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, non-technical language.
  • Patient, approachable personality with the ability to make users comfortable asking basic questions.
  • Ability to work closely with technical teams, administrators, developers, and vendors.
  • Understanding of nonprofit financial and grantmaking workflows preferred.
