Job description

The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting scalable Salesforce solutions that drive business growth, process efficiency, and customer engagement. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, administrators, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions across the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrated enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Salesforce development technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, APIs, and integration frameworks. They are expected to build secure, high-performing, and maintainable solutions while adhering to Salesforce best practices and governance standards. The Salesforce Developer will play a key role in enhancing CRM capabilities, automating business processes, improving data quality, and enabling analytics and reporting.
This position requires a proactive problem solver who can balance technical excellence with business needs, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and support digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing support, ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with organizational objectives and deliver measurable business value
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and related technologies including KBMax, Xactly
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Configure and customize Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards to support business processes.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as SAP, ERP, marketing, finance, and data platforms.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and system testing to ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions while minimizing business disruption.
• Optimize Salesforce performance, data quality, and platform scalability through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support release management activities, including deployment planning, change management, and environment governance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, development standards, and operational procedures.
Stay current with Salesforce platform enhancements and recommend innovative capabilities that improve business outcomes and user adoption
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7-9 years of hands-on Salesforce and associated ecosystem development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience implementing and supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce products.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST, SOAP, middleware, and API-based technologies.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, data modeling, sharing rules, and governance best practices.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II and other Salesforce certifications preferred.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional business and IT teams.
