Job description

DESCRIPTION

To better serve our internal and external customer base, Nilfisk is seeking an IVS Sales Support Specialist to assist our outside sales team with all matters related to the daily execution of their jobs. Additional tasks could also be assigned by the Inside Sales Director and the Regional Sales Directors on an ad hoc basis if they are related to the sales process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Support Specialists' primary goal is to support sales development and improve customer experience by creating more efficient workflows from new customer acquisition through to post-sale support. The position will support IVS Sales Specialists with strategic planning, lead generation and qualification, and day-to-day sales administration. They will help to support and fulfill the Sales Management Process, while executing inside sales campaigns that target specific industries and initiatives as determined by Sales Management.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Planning

  • Work as a team with Regional Sales Managers and Dealer Partners to penetrate target accounts, as determined by Sales Management
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers and Dealer Partners to develop 2-week call plans to ensure required calls per day are met.

Prospecting

  • Develop and execute inside sales campaigns.
  • Work with IVS Specialists and Dealer to develop cold call target lists; complete cold calls and pass qualified leads to IVS Specialists and Dealer
  • Follow-up on all marketing-generated leads

Sales Calls

  • Follow-up with end-user on open opportunities; record notes and next steps in SFDC
  • Follow-up with customer 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month post-sale
  • Schedule 40 Point Checks on IVS Specialists calendar

Sales Team Liaison

  • Update and manage customer records and sales opportunities in CRM.
  • Generate customer quotes into SFDC for IVS Sales Specialists
  • Convert Project Surveys into SFDC opportunities/quotes, per CVS tracking process.
  • Facilitate New Account Set-Up Process
  • Complete Missing PO Forms
  • Review performance reporting and take action to solve customer challenges.
  • Hand off overflow of administrative items to team members as necessary and approved by Sales Director

Customer Advocacy

  • Function as another point of contact for the accounts in your IVS Regional Sales Managers territory.
  • Check inventory status for open opportunities and expected Purchase Orders
  • Provide order tracking to customers.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and triage repairs; involve customer service and/or TSR as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel), SFDC (or similar CRM systems), and ERP Systems like SAP are highly preferred.
  • Capability to learn new software and systems quickly.
