Inside Sales Representative
Pelham, NH
Job Summary
An Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new and existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service while maximizing sales and profit goals.
Yarde Metals is also open finding a candidate who may not have the experience but has all the right skills to come in as an Inside Sales Trainee! Inside Sales Trainee goes through a training program designed to develop an understanding of the company’s products, service capabilities, operations, pricing, industry knowledge and sales skills needed to generate a profitable customer base. After gaining working knowledge of the fundamentals, the Inside Sales Trainee responds to customer quotes and inquiries, develops new customer accounts, and services existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service while maximizing sales and profit goals.
Job Responsibilities
  • Successfully meet sales goals.
  • Project a “Can-Do” attitude and consistently provide exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Communicate with account managers and product managers regarding account strategy, pricing and acquisition of new accounts.
  • Interpret customer requirements and negotiate pricing, service, and delivery.
  • Expedite orders and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Review sales and profit reports.
  • Remain current with product knowledge, pricing, services and market/industry trends.
  • Travel with account managers to visit customers.
  • Assist with training and provide guidance to less experienced sales associates.
Requirements amp; Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent is required; a college degree is a plus.
  • One year of experience directly related to the duties of a sales position in the metals service industry or like industry.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
  • Effective phone skills with strong command of the English language.
  • Capable of building and developing strong business relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, persuade and make sound business decisions.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
