Required Education and Experience

  • Associate degree and 2 years of relevant project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of fire alarm, life safety, or related project management experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, milestones, resources, deliverables, and overall execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, field staff, subcontractors, clients, contractors, architects, vendors, and other stakeholders to keep projects aligned and on schedule.
  • Support project reviews, site visits, pre-tests, and FDNY inspections to maintain quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate changes, commissioning progress, risks, and solutions clearly with internal teams and clients.
  • Manage small to medium design-build, prime, fire alarm, and security installation projects, including budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and field supervision.
  • Support Sales with walkthroughs and takeoffs to help develop accurate and competitive project pricing.


Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong project management, budgeting, communication, problem-solving, and execution skills across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Knowledge of fire alarm systems, electrical theory, blueprints, applicable NYC, NFPA, ADA, and building codes; EST product knowledge preferred.
  • Self-directed team player with Microsoft Office proficiency and the ability to work effectively under pressure in office and field environments.
