Description

The Attractions Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable operation of AREA15 attractions by conducting daily safety inspections, promoting and selling attraction tickets and experience passes, enforcing safety policies and procedures, and delivering exceptional guest service. Attractions Operators actively engage with guests to recommend AREA15 attractions, experiences, and offerings while generating qualifying ticket sales opportunities. This role is instrumental in maintaining the safety and enjoyment of our guests within a dynamic, vibrant, and innovative entertainment environment. Attractions operators will be required to obtain and maintain all attraction-specific operating certifications through on-the-job training.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Operate amusement rides and attractions in accordance with established safety policies, procedures, and operating standards.
  • Monitor attraction systems and ride operations to ensure the safety of guests and team members at all times.
  • Load and unload guests efficiently while verifying compliance with ride requirements, height restrictions, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Inspect and secure ride restraints, lap bars, harnesses, seat belts, and other safety equipment prior to dispatch.
  • Provide clear safety instructions, attraction information, and exceptional guest service in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor and manage attraction queues, crowd flow, and guest throughput to maintain efficient operations and positive guest experiences.
  • Observe guest behavior and attraction conditions to identify, prevent, and report any potential safety hazards to management in a timely manner.
  • Perform opening, operating, and closing procedures for assigned attractions.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to ride interruptions, operational issues, guest concerns, and emergency situations.
  • Assist with ride evacuations and emergency procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct routine attraction inspections and complete required operational and safety documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout attraction areas.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and guest-focused operations.
  • Uphold company values and service standards while creating safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences for guests.
  • Utilize themed guest interactions to deliver a unique, immersive, and memorable guest experience.
  • Identify, de-escalate, and resolve guest conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
  • Work safely and in compliance with all local laws, company policies, work rules, and best-practice guidelines while promoting a proactive safety-first culture throughout the department.
  • Promote, sell, and process AREA15 Passes, tickets, and other assigned products in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Verify tickets, reservations, and booking times for attractions and activations.
  • Greet and welcome visitors to AREA15 and its attractions.
  • Provide guests with information regarding AREA15 attractions, experiences, events, and offerings.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in all guest and business interactions.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, and extreme cold.
  • Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke.
  • Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
