Job description

Satokie Electric is the electrical services division of SATOKIE, providing full-service electrical contracting from our Odessa, West Texas shop to oil and gas, renewables and battery storage, industrial, and datacenter clients across the Permian Basin and beyond.

The Sales Manager will lead new business development for Satokie Electric, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution with full accountability for pipeline health and revenue results. This hybrid role splits time between office/remote work and field settings, with regular travel across the Permian Basin and West Texas (estimated 50% field and travel time) and a clear growth path to senior commercial leadership.

What you'll do
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and cold outreach through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline in a CRM with accurate stage tracking, forecasting, and real-time visibility for leadership.
  • Set and hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets, while building a strong referral and repeat-business network.
  • Target and develop relationships with oil and gas operators across production facilities, compressor stations, saltwater disposal, and midstream infrastructure.
  • Pursue renewables and battery storage developers for subcontract operations, maintenance, and commissioning work, and target industrial, petrochemical, and datacenter clients.
  • Submit and manage Approved Vendor List (AVL) applications to major operators and industrial accounts in target markets.
  • Coordinate with field operations leadership on PEC, ISNetworld, and other compliance credentialing requirements, including safety documentation and qualification packages.
  • Prepare and submit RFQs, bid packages, and scope-of-work proposals, and follow through from bid to contract execution.
  • Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction and driving repeat and referral business.
  • Provide regular pipeline reports, win/loss analysis, and market intelligence to Satokie Electric leadership and the COO.
  • Track competitive activity, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities across target markets, and represent Satokie Electric at trade shows, industry associations, and networking events.
What you bring
  • 3+ years of sales or business development experience in electrical contracting, oilfield services, or industrial construction.
  • Proven track record of closing commercial or industrial service contracts with clear wins and revenue attribution.
  • Deep familiarity with the Permian Basin and related markets, including knowledge of key operators, procurement processes, and decision-making structures.
  • Comfort working independently in a growth-stage environment without a fully built support structure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Satokie Electric professionally at the operator and executive level.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, industrial power distribution, and technical concepts relevant to energy and industrial sectors, including electrical scope estimation, RFQ processes, and construction contracting fundamentals.
  • Strong CRM proficiency, with demonstrated experience managing pipelines, forecasting, and reporting through CRM systems.
Nice to have
  • Experience with AVL submissions and vendor credentialing processes at major E&P or midstream operators.
  • Existing relationships with procurement or operations contacts in oil and gas, renewables, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with renewables, battery storage, or datacenter electrical work, and experience with PEC/ISNetworld registration and compliance.
