Position Summary: Excel Sports Management is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Coordinator, Sales Operations to support the day-to-day execution of the Sales Operations team. Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, this role will help support a centralized revenue engine across Excel revenue-generating business units, including Talent (Football, Baseball, Basketball, Golf, NIL, Media), Events, Properties, and other emerging verticals.ย The Senior Coordinator will be responsible for executing core sales operations deliverables, including prospecting, development of materials, category research, and cross-functional coordination. This individual will help project management short/long-term workflows to ensure the team is organized, responsive, and equipped with the information and tools needed to support revenue opportunities across the enterprise.ย The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and execution-oriented, with strong attention to detail and an interest in sports, entertainment, and brand partnerships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day Sales Operations deliverables in support of the Director, Sales Operations and broader Sales Operations team.
  • Support centralized prospecting efforts by researching, identifying, and organizing potential brand targets and relevant decision-makers.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of sales materials, presentations, prospect lists, category overviews, and other revenue-driving resources.
  • Manage inbound and internal requests from revenue-generating teams, helping track priorities, timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
  • Conduct category research and white-space analysis to support prospecting, outreach, and strategic positioning efforts.
  • Maintain organized systems, trackers, and processes that improve visibility, efficiency, and team responsiveness.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Design, and other stakeholders to gather inputs and support deliverables for talent, events, and broader Excel opportunities.
  • Partner with Analytics and Design teams to help develop accurate, polished, and compelling sales materials.
  • Support cross-functional communication and help ensure the Sales Operations team is aligned on requests, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Contribute to a culture of disciplined execution, organization, and measurable growth.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Partnerships, Commercial Insights, Marketing, or a related role.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in sports, entertainment, media, or brand partnerships strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, requests, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience supporting prospecting, research, sales materials, presentations, or request management preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce polished, accurate, and client-ready work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM, analytics, or sponsorship tools a plus.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $78,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
