South Meadows Ace Hardware – Reno, NV

Part-Time | 20–25 Hours Per Week

At South Meadows Ace Hardware, helpful is more than a

word — it’s what we do every day. As a locally owned Ace store, we pride

ourselves on providing friendly service, knowledgeable advice, and a welcoming

environment for our customers.

We are looking for a friendly, dependable Sales Associate

who enjoys helping people, staying active, and being part of a supportive team.

If you like learning new things and working in a fast-paced retail environment,

this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and assist them in locating merchandise

throughout the store and on acehardware.com

• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering

product recommendations

• Assist customers with store services such as mixing paint, cutting keys,

and processing special orders

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor

• Assist with receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise throughout the

store

• Help unload incoming trucks and put away inventory

• Support inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels

• Assist with price changes, signage, and merchandise resets

• Help maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the sales floor, stockroom, and

outdoor areas

• Cross-train to operate the register and assist customers at checkout

• • Follow all company policies and procedures while helping create a positive

and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service

skills

• Strong attention to detail for stocking and inventory

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to learn different areas of the store

• Hardware or home improvement knowledge is helpful but not required — we

are happy to train

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and move merchandise

throughout the store

• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, bend, and perform

physical tasks

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

Schedule

• Part-time: 20–25 hours per week

Weekend availability required

• Flexible availability including evenings and holidays

• Store is open 7 days a week
