SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

Springfield, MO; Bentonville, AR | Full-Time | Territory Growth Leader

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re hiring Sales Account Manager's to drive growth in the Bentonville, AR and Springfield, MO regions. You’ll own a territory, build new customer relationships, and expand an existing account base. This is a role where you can see the direct impact of your effort. You’ll spend your time in front of businesses, understanding their goals, and delivering print and technology solutions that actually move the needle for them.

You’ll balance new business development with strategic account management, hitting monthly and annual sales targets while building long-term customer trust. This role offers the chance to take real ownership of your territory and see the results of your work as you continue to grow.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Territory & Growth:

  • Balance new customer acquisition and territory growth (70%) with existing account management and expansion (30%)
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to consistently generate new business opportunities
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing accounts through upselling, renewals, and value-added solutions

Customer & Sales Execution:

  • Conduct in-person and virtual prospect meetings to assess client needs and deliver tailored recommendations
  • Present and demo print and technology solutions including copiers, printers, production print, and managed print services
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing within defined margin guidelines
  • Close deals with confidence and move opportunities forward decisively
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals

Operations & Execution:

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline, document all activity in Salesforce, and provide accurate forecasting
  • Partner cross-functionally with service, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and high client satisfaction
  • Stay sharp on industry trends, competitive positioning, and evolving customer needs
  • Travel within your territory for client meetings and occasional overnight trips as needed
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re a confident, self-motivated seller with a track record of hitting targets. You balance new business hunger with the discipline to manage relationships strategically. You ask smart questions, listen to customers, and deliver solutions that matter to them. You’re resilient, curious, and energized by growth.

Core Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience, ideally in business technology, office equipment, or related industries
  • A strong mix of account management and new business development skills
  • Confidence leading sales conversations, delivering presentations, and closing deals with decision-makers
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) and strong organizational discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and resilience
  • Ability to travel within your territory for client meetings and occasional overnight trips
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment screenings
  • Fluency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
