Description
As an integral part of the Sales Team, creates, develops and execute sales business plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth. Position's the company as a strategic supplier at key customers within Japan. Manages account planning, researches to identify opportunities, and closes deals. Drives defined sales channel to exceed revenue targets, both tactical and strategic as appropriate.
Responsibilities
  • Manages direct customer and select channel partner activities within Japan, working in conjunction with the Internal Sales Representative to increase sales of Rochester Electronics products and services in accordance with agreed strategies and business plans.
  • Maximizes revenue from all daily, tactical, strategic and channel partner opportunities.
  • Identifies major opportunities, gains information, and develops strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within Region.
  • Manages full sales cycle from demand creation, qualifying business opportunities, creating and delivering sales presentations, creating sales proposals, negotiating and closing the deal.
  • Provides accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue.
  • Provides service to the customer base and effectively navigates internally to influence decisions and priorities on active business opportunities.
  • Generates and supports creative Marcom initiatives.
  • Promotes Rochester Electronics full range of products and services.
  • Participates in weekly meetings as required.
  • Provides input for weekly sales report, as required.
  • Performs additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, or appropriate alternate/equivalent based on Education in country of origin.
  • A minimum of 5 years semiconductor demand creation, sales/sales management experience in an OCM/channel partner environment.
  • Clearly demonstrates the aptitude and acumen of a high performing sales individual with visible measurable results from previous efforts.
  • A "Demand Creation" professional with a hunger to generate revenue and results.
  • Highly proficient in English language, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen combined with a degree of creative flair and passion is required.
  • Capable of working under very light supervision.
  • Extensive experience in managing both key accounts and channel partners.
  • Ability to travel globally on a periodic basis.
  • Ability to create strong relationships, as success shall be achieved through supporting and influencing colleagues, channel partners, suppliers, customers and members of the global team.
  • Clearly demonstrates vision, passion, commitment, integrity, transparency, taking responsibility and building trust.

Working Conditions
