In North America, Nedap has been operating for nearly 15 years and continues to scale rapidly across three key markets. As the organization accelerates its growth in North America, we are hiring a detail-oriented, process-driven HR Operations professional to partner with the Director, Human Resources and assist in the build of a scalable HR department.
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will help ensure the smooth and effective operation of HR processes and technology to enhance the overall employee experience. You will support the design and implementation in multiple HR areas including onboarding/offboarding, benefits, policies, performance management, and the total rewards process.
Key responsibilities:
  • HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management: Own and maintain employee records, HR systems, and core HR processes while ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and a seamless employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Benefits & Total Rewards Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, support annual benefit renewals and open enrollment, provide day-to-day employee support on benefits-related matters, and contribute to compensation review processes.
  • HR Compliance & Policy Management: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, oversee the review and updating of employee policies and handbooks, and coordinate HR training initiatives for employees and managers.
  • Payroll & HR Administration: Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing through the maintenance of complete employee data and documentation while handling all HR matters with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • People Analytics & Process Improvement: Track and report HR metrics, prepare ad hoc analyses, and continuously identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Employee Support & HR Partnership: Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, programs, and processes, while supporting broader HR initiatives and projects as needed.

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Shared Services, or a broad HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR administration, benefits, payroll coordination, and employment law compliance.
  • Experience managing and improving HR processes with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using HR metrics and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment is preferred.
  • Experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS is preferred.

Other requirements:
  • This is a hybrid role based in Burlington, MA, requiring in-office presence two days per week
  • Domestic and international travel (10%), including trips to our headquarters in the Netherlands
