Position Summary

SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Data Collector. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Observation of test events
  • Recording instrumentation outputs and system performance data
  • Maintaining event logs and timelines
  • Organizing collected data for post-test analysis

Minimum Qualifications of Data Collector
Must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED and a valid UT driver's license. Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to do lifting up to 25 pounds. Must be able to obtain an Interim security clearance within 30 days of employment Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.

  • Must have basic computer skills and be able to handle rudimentary problems associated with MS Windows.
  • Must have good written and communication skills, and be able to work as a team with individuals from various educational and vocational backgrounds.
  • Must have a basic working knowledge in the use of MS Excel and be able to create forms, write formulas, format, etc. Must have a basic knowledge in the use of MS Word.
  • Must have good observation skills and be able to write coherently what is being observed while supporting different types of test programs. Must be able to maintain accurate records, including storing data on several different computer systems.
  • Must be able to understand basic to moderately difficult instructions. After basic training is completed on data collection techniques, the candidate needs to be able to work independently with little supervision and to be proactive in test operations.
