Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team at Sail Future Psychiatry Center. This full-time role is primarily remote, allowing you to provide vital mental health services to clients while enjoying flexibility in your work setting. You will make impactful contributions to clients struggling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, ensuring they receive personalized treatment and support.

About the Organization

Sail Future Psychiatry Center is a prominent mental health facility located in Pahrump, Nevada, recognized for its holistic and inclusive approach to mental health care. We are passionate about improving the lives of individuals facing various mental health challenges, particularly among vulnerable populations including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Our commitment to evidence-based care and community engagement has established us as a trusted provider in the region.

Work Environment

This position offers a unique remote work opportunity, balancing the convenience of working from home with the collaborative environment of our outpatient office. You will be integrated into a supportive team of mental health professionals, and though remote, you will remain connected through regular virtual meetings and consultations, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative approach to client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each client's specific needs, aspirations, and circumstances.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address various mood disorders effectively.
  • Provide education and support for clients and their families on understanding mood disorders, exploring treatment options, and engaging in meaningful self-care practices.
  • Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness and address emerging needs.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mood disorders to continually improve therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings to promote professional development and best practices.
  • Advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigmas and supporting their specific needs within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients grappling with mood disorders, including, but not limited to, those affected by anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, actively participating in initiatives aimed at supporting underserved groups such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. This role not only seeks to provide therapeutic support but also aims to empower clients to reclaim their lives through innovative and compassionate treatment.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to develop strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • A deep-rooted sense of empathy, coupled with a nonjudgmental approach towards the experiences and challenges faced by clients.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, facilitating effective management of workload and administrative responsibilities.
Preferred Experience

Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, particularly those dealing with mood disorders, will be an advantage. Familiarity with both cognitive and dialectical therapeutic methodologies will enhance your ability to deliver effective interventions. Experience working in an outpatient setting and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams will further support your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, and a retirement plan.
  • Access to continuing education opportunities to foster personal growth and professional development.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Sail Future Psychiatry Center provides a platform for career advancement within a supportive and innovative environment. As a key player on our mental health team, you will have the chance to expand your skills through ongoing training and be a part of various projects that aim to enhance the quality of mental health services in the community.

Why Join Our Team
