• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and behavior through interviews and direct observation, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances.
• Utilize an integrative approach combining social, medical, and psychotherapeutic data to develop personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs.
• Establish measurable short- and long-term treatment objectives, setting the stage for consistent progress in therapy.
• Facilitate open discussions with patients about their feelings and behaviors, fostering a safe space for exploration and healing.
• Design and implement effective treatment programs that may include psychotherapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and skills training.
• Assist patients in coping with various challenges related to mental health, such as anxiety, depression, grief, addictions, and interpersonal issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical services, including initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and any additional necessary documentation.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to identify and address psychosocial issues that may affect a patient’s recovery.
• Stay updated on applicable legal and professional requirements, ensuring compliance through continuous learning and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Our patient population comprises individuals facing complex mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, end-of-life issues, substance use disorders, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with an array of diverse backgrounds and demographics, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s needs effectively.

• Valid and current California LMFT license is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field of marriage and family therapy.
• Exceptional computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, as it enhances our ability to serve a diverse clientele.

• Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team/environment is advantageous, as collaboration is key to our therapeutic approach.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and interventions based on evidence-based practices.
• Proven ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues, promoting teamwork and patient-centered care.
