Job Description As a Fintech Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and adoption of Sageโ€™s fintech solutions across our customer base and partner ecosystem.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Strategic Partners to identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and help businesses realize value through Sageโ€™s expanding fintech portfolio.

This role is ideal for a highly collaborative sales professional who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and is excited by the opportunity to help build and scale a growing fintech business within a global software organization.

*This is a hybrid role: 3 days per week onsite*

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Fintech Growth
  • Achieve or exceed assigned fintech revenue targets.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of fintech opportunities within Sageโ€™s customer and prospect base.
  • Partner closely with Sage and Partner sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance fintech opportunities.
  • Conduct consultative discovery conversations with business owners, finance leaders, controllers, CFOs, and accounting professionals.
  • Present the value of Sage fintech solutions, including accounts payable automation, accounts receivable automation, vendor payments, and future fintech offerings.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the sales process while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build Trusted Relationships
  • Establish strong relationships across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Strategic Partners.
  • Serve as a trusted fintech advisor to internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments to drive customer outcomes and business growth.
  • Influence stakeholders through credibility, communication, and business value.
  • Contribute to Business Growth
  • Provide customer and market insights that help shape product strategy and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Support sales enablement, training, customer events, webinars, and field activities.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes, increase adoption, and enhance customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of Sageโ€™s fintech business.
What Youโ€™ll Bring Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying experience in fintech, payments, SaaS, financial technology, ERP, accounting software, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience managing opportunities through a consultative sales process.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms to manage pipeline and forecasting activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling accounts payable automation, accounts receivable automation, B2B payments, embedded payments, or related fintech solutions.
  • Experience engaging with finance and accounting stakeholders, including controllers, CFOs, and business owners.
  • Experience working within high-growth or rapidly evolving organizations.
  • Experience supporting ecosystem, channel, referral, or partner-led sales motions.
