Client Account Manager

The Client Account Manager is responsible for executing JMT’s goals of an extraordinary client experience for nonprofit finance leaders and serves as the conduit for positive client relations. The first objective of this position is to establish and nurture positive client interactions and build long-term client relationships, which will result in referenceable clients and JMT promoters as well as increased sales and profitability.


The CAM will work to promote end-user success and create strong partnerships with the financial leadership teams by re-engaging clients as lifelong partners to get more value and happiness from their JMT relationship, with the end-in-mind to help them improve their ability to execute on their missions. 


Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate long-term relationships, and effectively manage client issues and concerns including identification, documentation, resource coordination, and defined plan for resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and success through the delivery of high-quality services while gathering client referrals, testimonials and case studies.
  • Maintain at-risk client list and diffuse imminent at-risk situations.
  • Maintain prescribed call cadence to ensure relationship building and updates to temperature checks.
  • Monitor support surveys and new and existing client project feedback, taking timely action as needed.
  • Manage user maintenance including new contact introductions and key contact onboarding.
  • Prepare information for surveys including notification to clients and compiling results.
  • Responsible for renewal contracting.
  • Collaborate with Client Experience, Support, and Finance departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of client subscription components.
  • Identify any potential renewal concerns and opportunities, ensuring client receive complete renewal invoices and information needed to understand renewal components.
  • Works with the Professional Services team on creating Service Orders and other project-related add-ons based on details provided by the consultant.
  • Identify and document client needs, expectations, and priorities in order to create and close opportunities. Sell upgrades, user adds, additional modules, maintenance plans, cross-sells, and services to clients.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Experience with bookkeeping or accounting a plus
  • 5+ years’ experience in client management and/or project management
  • Experience with nonprofits preferred
  • Must have an overall business knowledge and solid understanding of how finance affects every department
