Job description

Position Title: Pizza Hut Delivery Driver Department: Pizza Hut Operations Prepared By: Human Resources Location: PURPOSE Delivers customers' orders in a timely and safe manner by complying with Pizza Hut guidelines and State and Federal traffic laws. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Essential Functions Drives competently and adheres to all State and Federal traffic laws. Delivers products in a timely manner with accuracy and courteousness.

Execute outstanding customer service Collects cash or credit card slips to properly tender order. Performs secondary duties such as washing dishes, cleaning, prep and cooking duties. Keeps car and work areas clean and organized throughout shift.

Maintains proper driving documents Utilization of the Dragontail Application Follows all company and Brand policies and standards for drivers Health and Safety - Self Ensures that safety is a priority for all employees. Act in a safe manner and do not put self or others at risk. Safety is everyone's responsibility.

Other Functions Performs other duties as assigned. PARAMETERS FOR SUCCESS Key Interactions with Other Areas Complete all essential functions Execute driver duties safely Trained in compliance Guests, in-store operators, operations management COMPETENCIES + PROFESSIONAL JOB PROFILE Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid United States driver's license (with Military exception).

Must have acceptable driving record Must provide own insured vehicle for deliveries. Able to read and follow road maps. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used by customers.

Must be able to communicate clearly, courteously and efficiently with customers. Working Conditions Driving and walking in adverse weather conditions such as winds, rain and heat. Walking up and down stairs and on uneven terrain may be required.

Qualifications Minimum one ride along accompanied by GM or Driver Trainer. Physical and/or Medical Requirements Must obtain a Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate. Position requires well-paced mobility for periods minimum of four (4) hours in length.

Requires driving, standing and walking for most of the workday. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. occasionally.

$9.25 per hour - This Position Description summarizes the primary responsibilities of this role at the time of commencement. From time to time and with the natural developments of business structure and practice, an employee may be required to perform additional or new responsibilities that fall reasonably within the expectations of this role
