Public Safety Operators answer 9-1-1 calls, public and allied agency calls, and make out-going calls to service providers, allied agencies and citizens and must be able to document information into a computer aided dispatch system quickly and accurately and take appropriate action on each call.

This position requires the ability to type at a minimum speed designated on the Classification Specifications (link available in the minimum requirements section).
