Raytheon Company is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology (AT) Team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this highly visible role, you'll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams.
You'll create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure. This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. In this role you will be taking a proactive stance in making informed SCM recommendations to Program Management on risk mitigation, methods of procurement, material strategies, and supplier management.
This position is an onsite role in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do:
  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • Planning and executing sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (Flow Down Attachment) and/or Modifications (TCMs).
  • Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Active engagement and taking the lead on proposal activities and BOM approvals.
  • Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
  • Participating in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
  • Being familiar with and reference applicable policies and procedures to perform MPM tasks.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as required

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic Sourcing.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related.
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to support complex product development efforts.
  • Excellent reporting/communication skills and ability to demonstrate RTX Leadership Behaviors.
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Experience in material requirements planning (MRP).
  • MPM level 3 or 4 certification/or PM certification.
  • Experience in executing program financials, risk & opportunity, RLPM gates, and creating an MPP.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
