Job Title: Ride Operator

Job Summary: Ride Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of amusement park rides. This role ensures all guests have a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience while adhering to park policies and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate only the rides you have been trained on and follow all operating procedures.
  • Conduct thorough ride inspections and run a complete unloaded cycle before accepting passengers.
  • Verify guests meet all ride requirements, including height, age, or other special restrictions.
  • Ensure guests have valid hand stamps, armbands, or tickets before boarding.
  • Assist in daily pre-opening ride inspections and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Demonstrate a positive, cooperative attitude toward coworkers and guests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • Currently attending high school (required) or possess a high school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Previous customer service experience (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong willingness to learn and follow procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet objectives without supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs. consistently.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and reaching overhead.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods on various surfaces, including uneven or hard flooring.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including shifts up to 12 hours.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and a wide range of temperatures.

  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
