Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our General Gastroenterologist Physician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive digestive health care within a highly collaborative and established medical group in either Carmichael or Sacramento, CA. You will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient outcomes by diagnosing and treating a wide array of gastrointestinal disorders, benefiting from a robust built-in referral system and strong hospitalist support.

Every day you will focus on essential general gastroenterology procedures, including regular screenings and managing conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, and colon. You will participate in a shared clinic and hospital call schedule (approximately 1:5), working alongside a congenial, team-oriented division to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care, with additional compensation for call duties.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist physician with an unwavering commitment to patient well-being and a collaborative approach to medicine. You should possess expertise in common GI procedures and a desire to thrive in a busy but supportive environment.
