Job description

Provide instruction to students enrolled in the Industrial Career Academy program with a focus on industrial technical maintenance - electrical.


Requirements:

● Have the ability to obtain the Workplace Specialist I teaching license. https:// www.doe.in.gov/licensing/workplace-specialist

● Meet credentialing standards of post-secondary partner to be able to offer dual credit

● Earned SACA industry certifications preferred, or ability to obtain

● Continue fostering relationships with industry partners and professions for training and work-based learning opportunities

● Effectively implement instruction and assessments as assigned. This includes following the curriculum guide and teaching standards as outlined by the Indiana Department of Education and post-secondary partner

● Effectively monitor all student learning. This would include, but is not limited to, observing and recording all student data related to classroom activities, providing intervention as indicated by the data and observation, communication with stakeholders regarding student learning

● Maintain all student records as required by Crawfordsville Community School Corporation, certification agency, and post-secondary partner

● Effectively implement other duties as assigned by the administration


Certification Requirements:

● Valid Indiana Teaching License, or ability to obtain Workplace Specialist I License

● Education and/or training in order to meet credentialing for post-secondary partner
