Guidewire ClaimCenter SaaS Developer

Plano, TX / Indianapolis, Boston, Seattle, Portsmouth, NH – onsite

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter SaaS Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex insurance claims solutions. In this role, you will be a key technical expert, driving the modernization of our insurance platforms using Guidewire Cloud technologies to deliver high-quality, scalable functionality. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure our solutions align with industry’s best practices and SaaS architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep technical experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter (Version 10 or higher), Gosu scripting, and modern integration patterns. You will design, develop, and implement scalable solutions to enhance our claims management processes, improving operational efficiency and customer experience within a P&C Insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development: Architect and build complex Guidewire ClaimCenter configurations and integrations (FNOL, workflow, assignment rules) tailored to business needs.
  • Cloud Integration: Implement end‑to‑end integration solutions using Guidewire Cloud technologies, including Integration Gateway, App Events, and Cloud APIs (REST/JSON).
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical reviews, conduct code reviews, and act as a mentor to junior and mid‑level developers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • System Optimization: Performance tune application and database layers (SQL Server), troubleshoot complex defects, and support production system reliability.
  • Agile Collaboration: Participate in all Agile ceremonies, translating functional claims requirements into technical specifications in partnership with Business Analysts and Architects.
  • Governance & Security: Ensure solutions follow security protocols (OAuth2), API governance, and Guidewire Cloud Assurance standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of professional software development experience, with at least 4+ years of hands‑on expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • SaaS Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Guidewire Cloud platform architecture and components.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert‑level knowledge of Gosu scripting, Guidewire Data Model, and Guidewire Studio; strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred) and relational databases (SQL Server); experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Certifications: Guidewire Certified Associate, Specialist, or Professional/ACE (highly preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
