Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment in Montesano, WA. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain travel experience while working in a supportive clinical or educational environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication and/or swallowing function

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, educators, and caregivers

  • Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and strategies

  • Adhere to ethical standards and state/federal regulations

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current or eligible Washington State SLP license

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Previous clinical experience preferred (setting-specific experience a plus)

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
