This is a Contracted W2 position. This role will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive SEO analysis, identifying content opportunities, and implementing optimization strategies that enhance our visibility in search engines and drive targeted organic traffic. • Content Optimization Support: Partner closely with editorial teams across all Blavity Inc. properties to optimize content for search visibility, including meta descriptions, title tags, header structures, and internal linking strategies
  • Competitive Analysis: Perform regular competitive analysis to identify content gaps, emerging keyword opportunities, and industry trends that can inform our content strategy across politics, health, tech, business, travel, and culture verticals
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with editorial teams to identify timely content creation opportunities based on trending topics, search volume data, and news cycles while maintaining brand voice and editorial standards
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key SEO metrics including organic traffic, keyword rankings, click-through rates, and user engagement metrics; provide weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Preferred Experience:
